DVDs from What's At Stake Conference Available

DVDs containing presentations made at the What's At Stake Conference, an ecumenical conference on human sexuality and marriage, held in Edmonton, January 14-15, 2005, are currently available.

There are two options available:

1) A set of 5 DVDs, containing the presentations made by Father Raymond de Souza ("Not So Private After All: The Public Consequences of the Church's Teaching on Sexuality"), Rev. Phillip Max Johnson ("What's At Stake Doctrinally"), Dr. Robert Gagnon ("What's at Stake for Biblical Interpretation?"), Rev. Amy Schifrin ("What's at Stake for Worship? The Marriage Rite as Performative Exegesis"), and Rev. Dawn McDonald ("What's at Stake for Those Who Seek Healing? Excluded Voices").

2) A set of 3 DVDs, containing the presentations made by Dr. Robert Gagnon ("What's at Stake for Biblical Interpretation?"), Rev. Amy Schifrin ("What's at Stake for Worship? The Marriage Rite as Performative Exegesis"), and Rev. Dawn McDonald ("What's at Stake for Those Who Seek Healing? Excluded Voices").

Each set of 5 DVDs can be purchased at a cost of $50 and each set of 3 DVDs can be purchased at a cost of $30. To purchase, make a cheque payable to "St. Albert Lutheran Church", designate it to "What's At Stake" in the memo portion, and send it to the following address:

Donations

The event organizers would gladly appreciate donations to What's At Stake to help cover the costs of hosting the conference and to help to get the message out to congregations across the ELCIC. Please send donations to the above address. Charitable tax receipts for any donations will be provided.
