Confessional
Ministerium - This past autumn, a gathering of
Albertan clergy formulated a list of confessional statements to which they
still adhere but see being challenged in our church body today. These
are the statements of the Confessional Ministerium:
WordAlone Network. Building an evangelical, confessional
Lutheran future in America.
Anglican
Essentials Canada. The Waterloo Declaration
adopted in July 2001 by the Anglican and Evangelical Lutheran churches in
Canada officially established full communion between our two churches. One
expectation of full communion is that consultation and working together on
major decisions affecting the church is to be encouraged. In that spirit,
Solid Ground is pleased to provide this link to our brothers and sisters of
the Anglican Essentials movement whose vision is to be the theological and
spiritual rallying point for historic Christian orthodoxy in the Anglican
Church of Canada.
Fellowship of Confessional
Lutherans. Encouraging biblical, evangelical and confessional
faithfulness to our Christian heritage.
Journey Together
Faithfully. Documents and information related to the ELCA's
studies on homosexuality.
Caring
Conversations. This site, managed by Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
Church, New Hamburg, Ontario, provides a variety of resources and
information related to homosexuality from a liberal perspective.
