Dear Friends,

At the July Convention of the ELCIC that was held in Saskatoon, SK, several motions were passed that dramatically alter the teaching and direction of the church body.

These motions which change teachings regarding human sexuality, marriage, ordination and what constitutes unity in the church, challenge Confessional and Constitutional understanding of the authority of Scripture.

Many people and congregations feel hurt, betrayed and confused. Solid Ground has received numerous inquiries about what options lay before people.
